Summary

The alchemist and the boy are taken to a military camp where they are accused of being spies. The alchemist insists he is just a man wandering the desert and is acting as a guide for Santiago. He also tells the men at the camp that Santiago is an alchemist who understands the forces of nature and he wants to show them his extraordinary powers. They are made to believe that Santiago wants.......
