Laurie finds an anonymous article when she arrives at the Grapevine
office: "Welcome to the Wave - or Else" is written by a
junior who describes how a senior in The Wave stopped him and several
friends, seeking to recruit them. When this person was the last person
to refuse to..........
There is a minor point of confusion in this chapter: Laurie is said
to have found the anonymous article "the next day" but the second
half of the chapter starts with Ben Ross leaving Principal Owens' office.
Either "the next day" refers to the last time Laurie appeared,
in Chapter Nine talking with her mother - in which.........
