Summary

Santiago returns to Spain and reaches the church just as night is falling. The sycamore tree is still there, and he remembers how it had been a peaceful night when he had last been there, except for his dream. He takes up his shovel, but not before he drinks some wine and contemplates the strange way God has chosen to lead him to his treasure. He knows the path........
